school and junior high school students, adults and family groups. These
interactive and participatory programs cover a wide range of topics.
Intensive college credit courses in environmental science, on and off site
training programs, nature science field trips, field seminars and related
programs are offered at Camp Sagawau.
The purpose of programming at Camp Sagawau is to increase
environmental awareness, appreciation and respect for natural Chicago
region ecosystems. An equal and additional purpose is to inspire our
visitors to develop an “Ecological Conscience” on a global scale.
