Join Vernon Kleen and the volunteers of
the Bird Observatory in trapping and
banding our smallest bird as they begin the
long flight to Central America.
Each hummingbird captures will be
marked with a hand made band and
released. Adoptions of individual birds are
available for a $5.00 contribution to the
Illinois Audubon land acquisition fund.

Sagawau’s.
On Sunday, August 26th 2007, from 9:
00am to 3:00pm., observe these beautiful
avian jewels in our garden, see hummers
up close during the Hummingbird banding
demonstration, and enjoy the other fun
activities planned to help you gain
knowledge and appreciation for one of
natures true marvels.
